Balance Begins

My new year motto, goal, endeavour is to achieve balance and to begin now.

I aim to do this by: buying less, making more. Not so much in quantity but in time, making more time to work deeper into a project; slow cloth rather than flitting about from one process to another. Spend time in meditative stitching and creating. Spend more time at home or with like minded people. Cook and share good food. Get out into the garden. Nurture the spirit. Walk every day. Communicate and seek inspiration in simple things.

There are many inspiring and sharing people on the internet. Many are very nurturing and giving. Jude Hill, India Flint to name but two who live out this philosophy.
