Studio started!

I have just returned from a few days enjoying the scenery over the water hoping to find the concrete slab in place. Framework went in Monday and no sign of concreters since, hopefully they will turn up this week so the shed can go up before the end of the holidays.
The few days we had away were great to recharge the batteries and spirit. We ate great food, sampled great wines, shopped, walked and drove around the magnificent Mornington Peninsula.
I’m sure some of the photos taken will find there way into textile art, especially the upcoming workshop with Alison Holt in November (can’t wait!!).
As always I found some handy little tidbits in the local Op shop:
The thick brown twine will be used for a coiled basket of some kind.

That looks like it’s going to be a very good studio space. I hope that they have turned up by now to lay the concrete.
London Bridge is a great rock formation and I love the beach huts. I have a couple of Alison Holt’s books so am very envious of your workshop with her.
